You will be provided with water transport to our Johnstone Strait Base Camp. Our Transport Boat was custom built for the waters and conditions of the North Island. We are exclusive in that we are a self contained Sea Kayak Company that guarantees that you will get maximum time on the water and in the wilderness and get back to our departure point on the last day of your trip without incident. This boat gives us an element of safety that we think is essential to ensure that your kayak vacation can be combined with other activities.
After selecting your camp site - you will be given an introduction to your kayak use and operation. It is typical that all our tours are designed to get you out on the water as soon as possible so you can enjoy kayaking in Johnstone Strait.
For the next three days you will venture into Johnstone Strait and enjoy what the area has to offer.

This is a fully guided kayak tour that starts from Telegraph Cove. You will be provided with transport to our Johnstone Strait Base Camp. After selecting your camp site - you will be given an introduction to your kayak use and operation. It is typical that all our tours are designed to get you out on the water as soon as possible so you can enjoy kayaking in Johnstone Strait. Expect that after your introduction to your kayak and a review of safety information your Guides will have you out kayaking on day one.
